We are honored to host Award Winning Producer, Sev Ohanian. He will join us via Zoom on Thursday May 27, 2021. Sev Ohanian won Sundance Institute / Amazon Studios Narrative Producer Award in 2018 and runs Proximity Media with Ryan Coogler. Ohanian produced Judas and the Black Messiah which earned him his first Best Picture Oscar nomination. He has just wrapped up production of Searching 2, and is Executive Producing the new Space Jam with Lebron James. From Sundance Co//ab: Sev Ohanian is a writer/producer who’s been a producer on 13 feature films – including Sundance films Fruitvale Station, Results, and The Intervention. Most recently, his film Search, which he co-wrote and produced, also had its world premiere at Sundance ’18, where it was awarded the NEXT Audience Award, the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Award, and Sev was the recipient of the Sundance Institute / Amazon Studios Narrative Producer Award. He's been named one of 11 Innovators Changing Hollywood by The Wrap, alongside Angelina Jolie and Jimmy Fallon, and he also serves as an adjunct professor at USC.
