Looking for the best that STL has to offer. Lots of folks have contacted, a few auditioned, but still looking for a versatile and talented vocalist with enough stage presence. There is probably a person out there who thinks they're too introverted. Some of the best performers are introverted off stage. Probably most of them! Though the attitude and work ethic at the studio can be laid back at times, no one in St Louis has had more success in finding their work landing on major labels. Even in this day and age. The majors are casting a wider net, and investing LESS in recording people and more in just grabbing everything out there that has a professional sound and real quality compositions. Which is why we have a pretty good rapport with them. But we need serious performers who know the value of image, visual appeal, acting chops, style, but mostly can SING really well and with unique charter and grace. Basically singing with some attitude, harmony, a degree of soulful improvisation and ability to convey the lyrical content... sincerely, as an actor would. I know there are some true artists out there! Also, there is also a rock opera in the works. Something irreverent and off center as Rocky and Hedwig, but dealing with other things entirely. A very dark comedy, with a perfect soundtrack, and everything based or reenacted from real live events. As always, it's in the execution, because the content is there. The right singer with a blue eyed soul sound, feminine tone and medium to medium high range... thick throaty tone and acting chops, based on a St Louis legend similar to Gayle McCormick (November 26, 1948 – March 1, 2016).
