This offering from OBX Lacrosse is for children in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Each session will have instruction and games. The interest in youth lacrosse at the younger ages has built momentum and we want to provide an opportunity for kids to experience it in an enjoyable atmosphere. We will meet 2x/week for 90 minutes (Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00). The season will start March 22 and end May 12. Sessions will be held at Rec Park. Each session will be split between teaching fundamentals and playing a lacrosse game. We will play with complete, boys equipment and padding on a smaller field. Games will be 5v5 or 4v4, use 3'x3' goals, no goalies, no offsides, and controlled checking. Each child must provide their own equipment (about $200). Each child must be a member of USLacrosse ($25, memberships are good for 1 year). Registration is $50/child which includes a reversible jersey. Although we show several "events", each "event" represents a lacrosse session/practice/game. The entire season is $50, not each event. Please choose March 22 unless otherwise instructed.
