Then Greater Good / CharityUSA may be the employer you’re looking for, read on and you’ll see… Greater Good / CharityUSA is currently hiring for Receiving Clerk on the following shifts: · Full time – Monday thru Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Greater Good / CharityUSA is located in Allendale, within a 20 – 30 minute drive of downtown Grand Rapids and only minutes from the Grand Valley State University campus. As a receiving clerk you will support the workflow of a variety of fulfillment center (FC) functions by ensuring productivity and accuracy are maintained with any work assignment in the FC. This position will require attention to detail and flexibility throughout the workday. Essential Functions include, but not limited to, the following: · Unload trucks and ocean containers using pallet jacks, manual roller lines and electric pallet jack · Accurately count and inspect product and compare to/match purchase order · Accepts and signs for deliveries · Accurately receives and enters the product into warehouse management system software · Assigns product locations, move product to specific location and enters in the computer · Conducts monthly cycle counts to assure inventory accuracy · Utilize power pallet jack and stand up reach truck to move product as needed · Conduct monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. · Recognize and communicate safety concerns or equipment issues to management. The above duties describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this function. All personnel may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities. Associates will be trained in all areas and placed in job functions by management as determined by workflow/demand for that day or time. Position Skills and Experience Requirements: Candidates successful in this position possess a can-do attitude, enjoy working with a team, and like to be active throughout the day. While previous fulfillment center experience is helpful it is not required. Additionally, candidates must meet the following expectations: · High School Diploma or GED · Demonstrates strong organizational skills. · Pays close attention to detail. · Possess basic math skills. · Communicates clearly and effectively · Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. · Must be able to consistently lift 5 – 40 lbs throughout the day. This includes lifting, pulling, bending, squatting, and twisting. · Able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours per day in a warehouse environment. · Full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists. · Able to maintain productivity with temperature fluctuations in the warehouse environment. Temperatures may range from 60 – 90 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the season. · Basic computer skills; able to use Mac, PC and Tablets. The health and safety of our teams is a top priority.
