Join PNC and the North Carolina Opera for a FREE and open to the PUBLIC family friendly opera performance with snacks, drinks, and crafts! Family Fun with the Opera will feature live vocal performances by North Carolina Opera artists and socially distanced activities for children ages 5 to 12. Activities include making opera masks, creating opera posters, and coloring sheets of operatic scenes and characters. Snacks and drinks will be provided. While supplies last, each family also will receive a copy of a special book about Mozart’s The Magic Flute, which NCO will present in April 2022. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; an individual spot must be reserved for every adult and child who plans to attend. Worthdale Community Center is an indoor venue and COVID safety precautions of social distancing and disinfecting will be in place. Masks are required for all attendees.
