In the first workshop the presenter will discuss the process of turning dissertation research into peer reviewed journal articles and will also illustrate how to build on that scholarship and develop new areas of interest. The presenter will also illustrate how to develop course assignments into research projects, and how to use that data for publication. In the second studio workshop participants will learn about the process of writing IRBs and consent forms, they will have the opportunity to brainstorm about possible project ideas related to their courses or dissertation and get feedback on those ideas.
