We are super excited to host our next Networking for Charity event to benefit The Gilbert Brown Foundation. Imagine how excited a child with a disability is when they can join their friends for the first-time riding through their neighborhood, just like we all did as children! For our upcoming event, we have decided to raise money to purchase a custom-made bicycle for a child with a disability, through AMBUCS.ORG. These bicycles are specifically designed for each child’s unique abilities. Often, the cost of these bikes is too cost prohibitive for a family who is already struggling with medical bills, as these bikes can cost up to $2500.00! Pictured above is Caden, who was the latest recipient of one of the bikes from Ambucs.org and the Gilbert Brown Foundation. Join us for a cash bar, free appetizers, networking, and an inspiring talk from Gilbert Brown himself. This former Green Bay Packer and Super Bowl Champion started this foundation with the principle of keeping expenses to a minimum, giving people the opportunity to volunteer for this good cause instead of paying staff, so nearly 100% of the money raised goes to the causes you are supporting!
