Organic Mushroom grower in Sebastopol has a Full time position available in our Maintenance department as a Apprentice Handyman. We are looking for a long-term hire. This is a special opportunity to work with a successful company and team. Job Description: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment and facility. Job Requirements: *Must be mechanically inclined, with the ability to troubleshoot problems. Some light plumbing and electrical knowledge a plus. Occasional grounds keeping as needed. *Willing to train the right person. Must be a self-starter, and be able to work well as a team. *Current California driver's license with clean driving record required. *Must be reliable and dependable and must be available to be on call during the weekends, and stay until the emergency repair is done. *Minimum of 3 years experience in a maintenance role *Attention to detail; someone who takes great pride in their work *While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
