Join us for a kickoff dinner fundraiser for the Fallen Heroes Banner Project
St. Clair County has over 580 service members who died in service to their country from World War I to the current gulf war conflict. The community banners will feature the fallen heroes’ photograph, rank, name, branch of service, war conflict, age, and city in which they resided. These beautiful, patriotic banners will be displayed one week prior to and one week after Memorial Day each year.
Join us to find out more about the massive amount of research and work that went into making this project a reality with a special presentation from project leader Ed Weichsler, Program Advisor and U.S. Air Force Veteran. Take you time looking at the latest exhibits at the Carnegie Center before dinner will be served at the Charles A Hammond Post 8 American Legion Hall across the street.
Ticket price includes everything, and funds go directly toward the banner project, with an end goal of documenting all in the area who gave all for t heir country.
