All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-05040094, 7th Street S. at S. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:37 a.m. on May 4, an officer was flagged down in the area of S. Four Mile Run and S. Oxford St. by an individual with a second hand report of an armed robbery. Officers responded to the area and attempted to locate the victim. At 11:44 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center received a call from the victim reporting an armed robbery. Upon meeting with the victim, it was determined that at approximately 11:00 a.m., he was walking in the area when he heard someone running behind him while demanding his property. When he turned around, he observed the suspect brandishing a firearm. After stealing the victim's cell phone and wallet, the suspect entered a black sedan and fled the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male, 20-25 years old, 6'2", 190lbs, with short dark hair, wearing a black hoodie, black mask, and black pants. The investigation is ongoing. BURGLARY, 2021-05030074, 1600 block of Crystal Drive. At approximately 10:10 a.m. on May 3, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 6:00 p.m. on May 1 and 10:00 a.m. on May 3, the suspect(s) gained entry to the business and stole merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-05030087, Arlington Boulevard at Glebe Road. At approximately 11:00 a.m. on May 3, an off-duty officer observed a motorist in distress and pulled over to assist. The investigation determined that the male victim was operating as a rideshare driver when he observed the male suspect exposing himself and masturbating in the backseat of the vehicle. The victim pulled over and the suspect exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Responding officers canvassed the area with negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid-twenties, 5'10" with a slim build. He had long dreadlocks and was wearing a pink shirt. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-05040105, 100 block of N. Thomas Street. At approximately 12:00 p.m. on May 4, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was cleaning around an apartment building when the male suspect, who was looking at her, exposed himself through his apartment window and began masturbating. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 45 years old, taller with a skinny build. The investigation is ongoing.
