SOMERS POINT, NJ — The Wawa on Shore Road in Somers Point has closed due to a staffing shortage. Many customers encountered the sign below when they tried to go inside the store on Wednesday: (Photo published with permission) The location is expected to reopen Friday depending on staffing levels, a company spokesperson said. The next nearest Wawa locations are in Somers Point at 16 MacArthur Blvd and 112 New Rd. Establishments nationwide have reported staffing issues, including restaurants in New Jersey.
