Up vote. I’m glad you pointed out one of the most significant fallacies of the left: Conservatives are stupid, uneducated rednecks. Personally I have a Bachelors in Science and a Masters in a Fine Arts degree and while there are a few sharp liberals I find most to be child-like in intelligence. More often than not they argue by insulting and posting insulting, silly memes with extremely one sided views. More years ago than I care to admit there was a website called “turn left” which was a forum for the left that attracted the most radical constituents. Anyway with the notable exception here and there the conversations went like this: 1. A point was made 2. Someone would disagree 3. I would lay out an argument 4. They would counter in an indignant manner 5. I would lay out facts with reference 6. They would start insulting with something about racism or being bigoted 7. I would return the favor 8. The conversation would end with each of us talking about the maternal relations of the other. It became such a set pattern it was laughable. The only thing you said I have reservations about is the use of deadly force, I like to think we are not there yet.
