Officer Kozminski made the ultimate sacrifice on June 7th, 2007. Join us for the 14th annual Golf 4 KOZ charity golf outing Officer Robert Kozminski made the ultimate sacrifice on July 8, 2007. Officer Kozminski "Koz" was a police officer with the Grand Rapids Police Department. On this evening back in 2007, Officer Kozminski responded to a domestic dispute call. He was tragically shot and killed. Koz possessed so many tremendous qualities that made him an incredible police officer, father, son, brother and friend to so many. His devoted family vowed to never allow Bobby's memory to fade. Officer Kozminski's parents, Richard & Maria Kozminski established a scholarship foundation in Koz's name. The Robert Kozminski Scholarship raises money for the next generation of police professionals. On June 11th, 2021, we will be honoring Bobby as well as raising funds for his scholarship at the 10th Annual Robert Kozminski Golf Outing held at the Mines Golf Course.
