BAYONNE, NJ — Officials have identified the body that was found last week along Route 440 in Bayonne as a 41-year-old New York City man. The body was found in a tarp in a wooded area off Route 440 in Bayonne. Officials said next of kin has been notified in the case. The cause and manner of death are pending further police investigation and the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner's Office. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and the Bayonne Department areactively investigating this case. No arrests have been made at this time.
