Local maintenance company is seeking a roving Maintenance Technician for several Seattle properties who has experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, electrical, painting & plumbing to join the team. This is a full time position. We offer competitive pay and benefits including medical insurance, paid time off and paid holidays. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Building maintenance, including completing work orders in occupied apartments, turnover work in vacant apartments Perform basic to intermediate plumbing duties such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, replacing water heater elements, etc Conduct basic to intermediate electrical (license not required) such as replacing fixtures and outlets Replace kitchen sinks, window screens, garbage disposal, blinds, fixtures, hardware, other appliances, interior and exterior painting Perform light carpentry and drywall work Assist with special projects as needed Qualifications and requirements include: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in apartment maintenance required Great customer service, trust worthy Demonstrated proficiency in areas of light plumbing and electrical Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, push and pull up to 100lbs daily Basic computer skills is a must, must be able to enter work order status update Knowledge of AppFolio is a plus Drug screen and background check required post offer/pre employment
