Champion Metal- A Taylor Metal Company is looking for Production Shop workers. Overview: Taylor Metal Products is a leading manufacturer of high end and steel roofing and siding products. We are looking for qualified, motivated high energy individuals for an hourly, with overtime, position with weekends off. We have been in business for over 20 years and continue to grow each year. We always hold true to our motto, “Quality Products, Exceptional Service.” Production Shop Workers are responsible for assisting in all facets of fabrication. Duties will depend on department/line and positions available. This is an entry level position with the expectation that candidates will quickly move up to positions that match their skills and abilities. Job Requirements: High School Diplomas or equivalent preferred Basic math skills Read basic diagrams, sales order, and inventory logs Able to be on feet continuously for long periods of time Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly Able to follow standard safety procedures Consistent availability for scheduled shifts Environmental conditions: noise, heat, cold Pre-employment Drug screening Sheet Metal fabrication and/or Forklift experience highly desirable, but not required.
