Description
over the past 6 years I have had business owners and head hunters lure me in for interviews for jobs in my industry Ive been in for over 30 yrs. Outside sales and technical knowledge.. Very specific.. Twice I left descent jobs in my own neighborhood for high paying jobs in Portland, That means crossing the river everyday.. But it pays very well. and my car and gas are paid for by said companies. After starting both jobs I was met with hostility from fellow employees. These jobs paid very well and they knew it, I tried to play it low key until said manager began to micromanage everything I did... I lasted 18 months at one place and 3 months at another. The hostility and toxic work environment were impossible. i did make a few friends but for the most part.. Ill stay right where I am.
So My message here..... Do your home work before going to work for someone. The grass is not always greener.
