iiCON Construction is currently accepting applications for Laborer working in our Detention Division projects. All candidates must be able to pass the following: No prior criminal record. Background checks will be performed prior to hire. Applicant must be able to pass drug test. Must be willing to adapt to various working conditions. Must be able to lift objects up to 80 pounds. The Construction Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor for construction projects and demolition sites. Candidate should be able to use small hand and power tools, be able to measure with a tape measure accurately, be self motivated and a problem solver. Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Handling and Moving Objects- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things. Controlling Machines and Processes- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles). Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
