GLEN ELLYN, IL —In Glen Ellyn, the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 28 cases in the past six days, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). The numbers reflect a slight decrease over the previous week, in which Glen Ellyn saw 37 new coronavirus cases. On April 28, the village had reported 3,125 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,153 as of May 4, reflecting an overall increase of less than .9 percent. The previous week's increase was 1.2 percent. DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. In Glen Ellyn, there have been 219 probable coronavirus cases.
