Press release from Ramsey County: May 4, 2021 The board of commissioners has proclaimed May 2-8 as Ramsey County Correctional Officers and Employees Week in honor of the more than 300 dedicated full-time and intermittent correctional officers, sergeants, lieutenants, captains and support staff that work in the Sheriff's Office and Community Corrections. The county's correctional officers, sergeants, lieutenants, captains and support staff provide security and monitoring at the Adult Detention Center (jail), Ramsey County Correctional Facility (RCCF), Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) and related programs. During this unprecedented time of worldwide pandemic, the correctional officers remain committed to their duty to keep the inmates, staff and community safe. Read the proclamation (PDF).
