We are currently seeking an Service Dispatcher to join our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet-Buick-GMC. This position is responsible for dispatching work to technicians in an efficient manner and according to certifications and knowledge of service technician team. Other duties as required. Dispatcher Requirements Must have automotive repair knowledge - previous experience as a service technician, advisor, etc. very helpful Must be flexible, able to juggle multiple demands, and have solid communication skills. Computer proficiency required. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds a plus. Successful candidate must pass a background, driving record, and drug screen Dispatcher Duties Dispatch work to service technicians in a way that optimizes productivity of the service shop Monitor for productivity issues throughout the day/week and adjust assignments as necessary Interact with customers, advisors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
