Calling all hard rock musicians... Serious project forming - intermediate level musicians and those that only want to be in one band. Pro level - this is a start up. If interested, please just be honest and if committed then great. Remarkably these quotes are real. Sorry not looking to “jam” Sorry not looking for “hit me up when you have a paid gig I will show up” “Yeah I want to, but I really can’t practice, well maybe every other Tuesday at 10pm” I will not reply to these. If you woke up this morning and said “hey, I’m 40 and I have been playing guitar for 10 years and never been in a band” then YES you are what this band is looking for. If in the middle of practice the drummer stops and says “you guys sound like sh(t” and we all laugh and practice until it’s right, then YES you are what this band is looking for. I get it... people have lives. Which is why I would prefer those that have never been in a band so that the process is learned and practiced. Have fun with it. The goal is to practice once a week and everyone does their homework. Establish 2-3 songs a week and Within 2 months we have a set list ready to go. Looking to gig 2-3 times a month and take this as far as we can go. I have a solid 25 songs that would hit the Tampa scene hard. This is NOT classic southern rock. This is not what others are doing. This is hard rock and the songs that no one wants to touch because they are scared to attempt them. I am willing spend on a rehearsal spot if needed. Please again, if you do not have the time to commit please do not respond. Have to get solid before going on stage. Would rather work as a group to get there than hire guns. This is an equal group all members have a say. Open to adding and deleting set list songs. Equal input and pay if we get to that point. No drama. no egos. No drugs. Tryouts in 2 weeks in St Pete. 3-4 songs. Please reply with instrument (I play bass) and details of groups you are into. I will respond with information and songs.
