May 05 2021 approximately 7:30 am - North Phoenix, AZ 85027 (Near the I-17 and Union Hills Dr) Wearing a striped colored collar, no tag I was taking a walk in our community and I saw a pretty hummingbird on a fence. I was talking to it for a few minutes and then suddenly a cute chihuahua lookin up at me. No owner anywhere in sight. So I was talking to him, petting him (very friendly!) and he followed me and stayed near me. I had a leash in the trunk of my car from a few years back when I rescued another dog. So I got lucky! I put the leash on him, offered him water but didn't drink and then took him for a walk in the community hoping to find his family. After an hour or so (started getting hot, it's hot already in AZ) I found a nice family who were on their porch with their dogs. I explained to them that we have cats and cannot take him in. They said no problem, they'll hold on to him until we find his owners. SEND ME A PHOTO OF YOUR DOG WITH THE COLLAR HE WAS WEARING AS PROOF THIS IS YOUR DOG
