Looking for a full-time, 40 hour per week career opportunity? KanPak in Penn Yan, NY is hiring! We have immediate needs for: *Production - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift 1st Shift - 7am - 3pm. $15.00 / hour starting pay rate. 2nd Shift - 3pm - 11pm. $15.25 / hour starting pay rate. 3rd Shift - 11pm - 7am - $15.50 / hour starting pay rate. JOB SUMMARY: Our Downline Packer associates are responsible for product coming off the line from the time it is filled until it has been boxed and stacked onto pallets, ready to go to the warehouse for storage. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Load bundles of boxes into machines • Operate labeler and ink-jet printer • Operate box erector and case packer • Load pallets onto conveyors • Stack cases on pallets • Use wrenches & pallet jacks • Manually clean equipment • Contribute to our excellence with a positive and flexible attitude • Ensures full compliance with all quality assurance standards, especially good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas. • Performs other duties as assigned.   Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • High School / GED required • 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
