Woburn Public School has an urgent need for several Special Education Paraprofessionals for long term substitute assignments in the following areas: Early Childhood Education (Shamrock) 1 : 1 Bilingual/Portuguese Speaking (Hurld Wyman) Elementary RISE Program (Shamrock) ....................................................................................................................................... Start Date: Immediately Pay: $85 per day; 5 days per week Length: Until End of School Year - 6/25/21 To Apply, Contact: Jake Donovan: [email protected] ; (781)-937-8233, EXT 11203 OR, Judi O'Neil: [email protected]; (781)-937-8233, EXT 11230 OR, Jean MacLeod: [email protected]; (781)-937-8233, EXT 11208 .........................................................................................................................Responsibilities include: Support disabled students academically, emotionally, behaviorally, and socially across the school settings.Oversee overall well-being and care of students throughout the school day.Maintain a calm, neutral demeanor while supporting students,Demonstrate reliability, be well organized, and have sound judgment while dealing with student matters.Maintain ongoing communication with the program and building staff on behalf of the students.Other duties as assigned by Principal and Special Ed Teachers. Qualifications: Desired applicants should be kind, caring individuals who are motivated to work with students with disabilities, develop new skills, and work very well as part of a team. Experience preferred with Special Education students, (but not required/will train). Minimum High School Diploma required.
