Preliminary Information: On May 5th, 2021, around 9:00 am, officers responded to a person stabbed near the location of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Upon arrival, officers located a 55-year-old male who sustained a non-life-threatening laceration. The male was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital in stable condition. Preliminary investigation indicates the male was stabbed by another male during a dispute that occurred inside of a private Park-and-Ride lot close to the airport. The lot is closed to the public and designated for contract workers. Officers have one male detained who is believed to be involved in the dispute. Officers are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the dispute and additional charges remain a possibility for both males involved as the investigation progresses.
