Description
Hi! My name is Michael and I am a 31 year old guitar teacher in Chapel Hill. I've played guitar for 17 years and have been teaching for 4 years. Prior to the pandemic I did all my lessons in person at the students' homes but have shifted to virtual lessons for now. I would describe my teaching style as very informal with a stronger emphasis on making sure the student is finding joy in learning/playing the guitar. I have a very good knowledge of guitar technique for different genres as well as experience teaching students of varying age and playing level. If the student is interested I also like to work on developing their songwriting ability, something I would describe as one my bigger strengths as a teacher. I'm currently taking on new students for virtual lessons in guitar and beginner bass guitar. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions at all and the first lesson is always free! Thanks!
* I also offer virtual tutoring in Math and Physics (graduated from N.C. State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Minor in Physics). Please feel free to contact me for more info on my qualifications/prices for tutoring. Thanks!
