Northland Drying, LLC is currently looking for operators for the Arlington, MN location. As an operator, you will help in our process of drying food products for use in pet food manufacturing. Start Immediately - Paid every other week. Pay starting at $16.50 and up (depending on qualifications). Health benefits. 4 weeks of paid time off each year! We will train you! Duties and responsibilities - Sample product off of production lines to ensure food safety standards - Adjust industrial food dryer ensuring product is within final product standards - Fill tote sacks with finished product and ensure product quality meets our standards - Unload trucks with raw product - Load trucks with finished product and make sure it complies with company and safety standards - Drive forklift in a safe and productive manner - Ensure warehouse and workspaces are clean, organized and free of hazardous materials - Adhere to all safety guidelines for the production and handling of materials in the factory - Strong attention to detail and be able to record different readings accurately - Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and quality programs - Adheres to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Work as a team member and be able to cross train on multiple operations - Demonstrate problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues and make decision based on facts at hand - Inform management of deficiencies which may cause accidents, injuries or loss of productivity - Complete all required training, including basic safety courses and food safety training - Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent - Complete all required training and basic safety courses - Able to work in a fast pace environment - Reliable and punctual, respectful of work times
