Skilled Labor - Remodeling/Repair Work

Hello, I am a general contractor facing a skilled labor shortage as are most contractors. I urgently need someone to install Velux skytubes and a bathroom exhaust fan in central Austin. - This is the first of potentially many half and full day gigs as demand dictates. I have a full time crew and need someone to complete the smaller jobs so I can keep my main crew focused. - We do full bathroom & kitchen remodels, re-siding of homes, work with roofers, decks, fences, concrete flat work, full interior/exterior repaint and more. - Depending on how you go on this first job of course, there could be a lot more coming your way. You Must Have/Be: Drivers License Construction Experience Own Working Truck (may need to haul ladders/materials) Own Tools (Power tools, nailer an advantage) Must be PRESENTABLE and PROFESSIONAL with customers at all times. Must be SOBER. Must be prepared to work on ladders up to 30ft high and on rooftops. Safety eqpt will be provided as needed. Skills Preferred: Carpentry/Framing/Siding Drywall/Install/Repair/Texturing Painting Some basic electrical and plumbing an advantage (to assist licensed contractors). - I will pay you a minimum 4hrs or half day ($140) wether you work a half day or not. For real. A full day is 9 hours with a 45 min lunch break. If you are a rockstar we can negotiate pay. - We start some days as early as 6am and finish as late as 9pm. Long days = good pay. We work almost everywhere. I may pay gas money for distance jobs outside of Austin metro area, that will be determined on a job-by-job basis. - I will also tell you how long the job will take: so know in advance NO SLOW ROLLING on jobs. If you are slow, inexperienced, unskilled, unprofessional or otherwise lying - I will know immediately. NO B.S.'ers!!! - You may or may not work alone on jobs, but generally I will pair you up where possible with someone else. Materials and most basic equipment (ladders, compressors etc) will be supplied by me, but you will need most common power tools. - If you cannot do the job don't fake it or try and learn on my dime. Crappy work will not be paid for. Look again at skills and must-haves and be honest with your abilities please. Let's not waste each others time. - I will pay you by check, zelle, venmo or paypal as needed every Friday for the weeks work.
