If so, we are looking for entry level, technically savvy candidates to join our rapidly growing fiber design team. No AutoCAD or Drafting experience required, we will provide the training! Job Summary: The OSP Drafter I is responsible for the design of high quality, outside plant construction drawings for top tier clients in the telecom industry. Prior experience is not required; paid training will be provided for candidates! - No AutoCAD or Drafting experience required, we will provide the training! Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work in customer specific systems to produce an engineered design for construction to place, splice, install, and maintain fiber/copper cables Identify assigned fiber/copper pairs at a strategic access points and design an aerial and/or underground path from point A to point B Identify the necessary requirements to successfully attach fiber/copper cables to poles, as well as place cables in an underground environment Engineer in the public right of way, and on private property, avoiding conflicts with existing facilities Job Specifications: Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy. Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. Ability to be flexible, take direction with ease, including changes to schedule and workflow priorities. Superior time management. Strong attention to detail.
