$1,000.00 Signing Bonus* Role: This is an entry level position. The primary role of a Jr. Sign Installation & Service Technician is to work with the Sr. Sign Installation & Service Technician to install and repair external commercial signage. Sign types include both illuminated and unlit signs, monument signs, pole signs, wall signs, channel letters, vehicle lettering and wraps, etc. Main Job Responsibilities: • Install all types of new signs (from ground, platform, lift bucket, or crane) • Repair and service existing signage (lamps, transformers, faces, power supplies, etc.) • Work inside and outside, at heights up to 60 feet in lift bucket or crane year-round Minimum Skills and Qualifications: • Valid Class C driving license • Basic carpentry and hand-tool skills (e.g. saw, drill, router, etc.), and equipped with basic set of personal hand and power tools • Physical capability to handle materials and finished signs, and work outside year-round • Comfortable interacting with customers • High energy, quality and safety conscience, detail oriented, team player with good attitude and willingness to learn Desired Skills and Qualifications: • Metal work (stick welding, bending, etc.) • Residential and/or commercial construction work • Class B CDL a plus • Crane, Rigging, Signal training and certification a big plus • Supervisory experience Compensation and Benefits: • Highly competitive wages, based upon experience and skill level • Health and Disability insurance • 10 paid holidays, plus personal and vacation days first year! • Employer matching retirement savings program, plus profit sharing • Paid job training (e.g. OSHA Lift Certification, professional and trade licenses) About Burr Signs: We are a growing, premier commercial sign company providing high quality design, fabrication, installation and service across Maine and northern New England, since 1987.
