Beginner acoustic guitarist

I am actually a drummer, but have been teaching myself the acoustic guitar for about 2 years. Just chords, nothing fancy. Would like to sit in with some guys to improve my skills. I'm a pretty good drummer, too. I've even done some singing on stage (but I'm not particularly good at it). Age 50 something. No bad habits. I like everything from Motorhead to Gordon Lightfoot to Merle to Alanis, as long as it's played on an acoustic.
