Janitorial/Custodial Part-Time Rate $14.00 an hour Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM Oceanside JOB BRIEF We are looking for a Janitor, or Custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. CORE SCOPE OF THE POSITION • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects • Clean up spills with appropriate equipment • Collect and dispose of trash • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs • Make adjustments and minor repairs • Stock and maintain supply rooms • Cooperate with the rest of the staff • Follow all health and safety regulations • Ensure doors are locked after hours • Ability to manage your time efficiently • Work well when supervisors are not present • Able to use basic cleaning equipment. • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision • Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds • EXPERICE • Proven working experience of 1 to 2 years as a Janitor • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets • Integrity and ability to work independently Apply online or visit the Aztec Landscaping office to complete an application at 7980 Lemon Grove Way, Lemon Grove, CA 91945
