Position Announcement for Rawhide Ranch 2021 Summer Camp Program Staff Located in beautiful North San Diego County in sunny Southern California, Rawhide Ranch is a one of a kind and world renown horse ranch and camp for kids. It is a high energy, completely unique 10 week summer youth camp program for kids ages 7-15. We have 60 horses and nearly 100 ranch animals that nearly 200 kids ride and work with everyday. Our cabins are covered wagons, a cavalry fort, tee pees and a Mining Town. The camp itself is an old west town. We need male and female counselors/staff take care of a cabin of boys or girls and possibly teach horsemanship, animal care, riflery. archery, sports, crafts, climbing or one of many other fun camp activities. This is a live-in position for the duration of the summer, June 11-August 27, 2021. The Rawhide Ranch Summer Counselor/Staff will: • Have a heart to reach, teach, serve and mentor children. • Love the outdoors and animals and having fun • Possess a positive and exemplary attitude • Have experience working with kids • Be able to work hard and have fun • Have the proven ability to work in a team environment • Able to take directions well and learn quickly • Thrive in a team environment If you think this might be you we would love to hear from you.
