Synergy Air is the premiere aircraft Builder Assist Facility for Kit Airplanes. We are a group of highly skilled and friendly people committed to teaching new aircraft builders effective building techniques and strategies to achieve the best quality, safest kit airplane. Are you looking to learn a new skill? We are currently looking to fill several positions to include, Aircraft Build Technician Helpers, Build Assist Helper-Paint Department. The Aircraft Build Technician Helper will process materials, parts, and assemblies for aircraft products. In this position you will learn the fundamentals skills to develop into a Build Assist Technician I, II, and III. You will work side by side with our customers to help them achieve a lifelong dream of building their own small airplane. As a Build Assist Helper-Paint Department, you will assist our in-house painter in creating one of a kind custom designed painted aircraft. You will learn the basic skills of prepping, body work, and laying the foundations for applying paint. As you grow, you will learn how to apply paint, cut and buff, help to create color schemes and creating layout. Some of the duties include: • Inventory of parts and materials. • Files, trims, saws, buffs, drills, and deburrs parts using hand tool and power tools. • Sand and mask planes for paint. • Utilizes chemicals, applies primer and paints using brushes and paint gun/spray gun. • Moves parts, materials, equipment, loads and unloads truck, trailers, racks, bins and crates. • Responsible for driving truck and large cargo trailer to pick up aircraft kits/parts. Qualifications needed: • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively. • Handling and Moving Objects – requires the ability to lift-up a min. of 25lbs., occasionally 50lbs. • Physical Activities – requires the ability to stand or sit for lengthy periods of time, lifting, walking, stooping and handling of materials. • Near Vision – the ability to see details at close range. • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools. • Computer skills for timekeeping. • Ability to work with in a team, and the ability to work unsupervised. Self-motivated. • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen • Must have a valid drivers license These are full-time position, 7am – 4pm Monday through Friday.
