After being closed for over a year, the Somerville Museum reopens to the public! Don't miss our current exhibition, The Art of Observation. All visitors must reserve their ticket ahead of time via Eventbrite. Curated by Community Curator, Debra Olin, The Art of Observation is a major retrospective of the work of David Campbell, one of Somerville’s most beloved artists. This show will explore Campbell’s long-standing fascination with the streets and buildings of Somerville itself. Programming for this exciting exhibition will also introduce a number of other artists for whom Somerville has been a primary inspiration. Admission is $5/person. Museum members enjoy for free. COVID-19 HEALTH + SAFETY MEASURES -Online Tickets: All visitors must reserve a ticket via Eventbrite prior to entering; time blocks are 1/2 hour long -Limited Visitors: We will have a max of 10 people in the space at one time. Meaning, only 8 visitors will be allowed in the space at once and 2 staff people. Eventbrite is set up this way -Masks: All visitors are required to wear a mask -Social Distance: All visitors are required to maintain a 6' distance from other visitors or staff in the space -Merchandise: Visitors can purchase memberships or merchandise while at the Museum, but will only be able to do so with credit card. We’ve installed a no-touch POS system for your convenience -Restrooms: We do not have available restrooms for visitors at this time
