JOB SUMMARY Reports to Facilities Manager – primarily responsible for assisting Lead Warehouse Specialist and other Warehouse Specialists in the acquisition and delivery of all products through the warehouse as well as overseeing the movement of all product to remote warehouse locations. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - picks/packs and distributes materials and supplies; - validates delivery of materials and provides a physical receipt; - performs periodic inventory of warehouse materials as directed; - organizes and controls site warehouse inventoried items; - Reviews incoming and outgoing product invoices to process; - safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse/material handling equipment; - follows appropriate company procedures (SOPs) as they relate to distribution, safety, etc.; - responsible for all inventory issue adjustments; - oversee the daily printing and cleaning up of on-hold delivery tickets; - oversee all backorder processing to maintain inventory/customer integrity; - responsible for making sure store has current UPC codes/pricing; - ongoing projects such as adjusting min/maxes; changing part number descriptions, quantity price break adjustments; stock number conversions; - performs general site housekeeping duties as required; QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION - high school graduate or equivalent; - ability to lift 50 pounds routinely; - ability to perform work requiring frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping; - must be able to work overtime if necessary; - adequate computer skills; - basic product identification of welding, safety, gases and supplies - important to maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along well with customers, vendors, co-workers and management; WORK ENVIRONMENT - work is normally performed in a typical warehouse environment; SALARY RANGE $13.00-$16.00 based on experience NOTE – this job description in no way states or implies that these are the only activities to be performed by the person occupying this position.
