The primary work needed is that I need the gas tanks drained and fresh gas put in. Beyond that, verify that the gas is being delivered via the fuel pump. If you or someone you know..... is good at working on old trucks, I would greatly appreciate your help and make it worth your while. We can discuss a proper amount of pay for this work. I just want to get the truck running again. I need it for some work I am doing on the farm. So far, it has a new battery and when I put fresh gas in the carburetor, it fires right up. It has always started that way. And usually after a short while of doing that a few times, the fuel line will fill with gas and the fuel pump will take over.
