Hi all. My husband and I have a 13 month old son and had our 2nd baby 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, we found out that our newborn has a rare genetic mutation and will need weekly appointments where we're going to Seattle for treatment. We're not totally sure of the extent of it yet, BUT we know we won't have the time for our puppy. He is super great with kiddos. He's been around little ones since the moment he was born. He came from our friend and she also has little kids. He never bites our son and will let him crawl all over him and pull on his skin and his tail. He knows to be careful. He is totally potty trained. He stays outside a lot right now because of our situation. He's high energy (he's a puppy). He knows to sit, stay, lay and fetch. Also knows the "leave it" command. We feel he would be better suited for a farm or a place with a big yard. Also suited for a home that can give him tons of love and attention, and for people who have patience.
