Our brand needs  (Long Beach) Hello Long Beach! We are a small but successful brand located near Bixby Knolls and have been in business for 11 years. We create and ship products such as scented baths, oils, powders, washes, colognes, books, candles, and more. Beyond products, we also offer services that are focused on enacting change in a person’s life and circumstances through life coaching and consultations provided by a team of life coaches with specific abilities and skillsets. Our products and services are offered to the general public through our website only; we do not receive customers at our place of business so there is no face to face customer engagement. We are not a retail location but an online store and make our products in small batches by hand, packing and shipping them 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. We are looking to work with someone on a part-time to full-time basis, 5 to 6 days a week depending on both our business needs and your availability. We can provide full-time employment to the right worker. Our business also belongs to an association that promotes quality service and ethical conduct by means of accreditation and evaluation of its members. In order to perform the tasks this job requires one MUST be able to: Demonstrate above-average English grammar and spelling and absolutely know how to use grammar/spell checking tools. Demonstrate basic computer skills and familiarity with technology like word processing, Google Docs, Gmail, shipping software and others. Must be teachable! Be able to lift up to 30lbs, often and multiple times a day with deliveries of supplies needing to be received. Be able to stand or sit for long periods of time without issue. Show up to work, on time, ready and willing to work efficiently.  Be able to accomplish tasks that require manual dexterity. Be able to type at least 30 words per minute. Communicate effectively. Attention to small processes and details with little instruction and supervision  Have a very open mind to what our customers need and the products/services you will help us provide Maintain strict confidentiality of our client’s information. Ideal candidates would possess some mix of the following qualities: Good understanding of Technologies such as Google Drive, Gmail, Basic web browsing Possess an intuitive imagination and an ability to use that intuition to read customer petitions and respond to them with a highly tailored response. A background in alternative spirituality is highly desirable (non-religious) An appreciation for Herbalism, holistic medicine and a desire to learn how we use them to enact change in the world from a spiritual point of view. Has reliable transportation, is responsible, and punctual with good time management Is comfortable working in close quarters with a small team. Responsibilities for a typical workday: Printing orders from our store to be sorted, filled, packaged and shipped. Noting which items are low stock and compounding/creating products to replenish stock as well as notifying management of low stock. Keeping the workspaces clean and comfortable for others Performing services at our location for customers including labeling, dressing and lighting candles. Returning to previously lit candles, cataloging them and then reporting back to the customer with information.  Assisting with loading/unloading candles and supply deliveries once a week. This job will require periods of standing, sitting and lifting of inventory both frequently and infrequently. Secondary responsibilities: Creating customized items to be sent to customers Ensuring discarded glass gets recycled and trash to the street once a week Collaborating with others Compounding and packaging products to be sent to customers Shipping products   More Info: This job is quite easy, but attention to detail is important. This includes ensuring proper quantities go out with orders, data entry for customers is correct, double-checking that packages, mailing addresses and labels are correct.
