Tax increases do NOT affect the rich

Rich people own businesses that employ people. Rich people have businesses that SELL goods and services to people like you and me. Poor people generally don't own companies and provide jobs for others, they have their hands full just trying to take care of themselves. Bottom line is, I've never gotten a paycheck from a poor person. Every person who I ever worked for, had more money than me. So, in a "Capitalist Society", rich people are important, because they provide jobs. When politicians talk about "Taxing the Rich" and "Taxing Corporations", they are LYING. They are trying to make you believe that rich people will pay more taxes, so you can pay less. Here's the DIRTY LITTLE SECRET that politicians, rich people and fake news don't want you to know: When the government raises taxes on rich people and corporations, a few things can happen: 1) The rich person may just move their residence address out of the country to avoid paying taxes altogether. (no tax revenue at all) 2) The corporation may move off-shore, to avoid paying US taxes. (this happened a lot under Obama) 3) The corporation may fire employees to cut back on expenses, to cover the tax increase (the little guy suffers) 4) The corporation may raise prices on all their goods and services, to cover the increased taxes. (consumers suffer) Rich people and corporations can do any of these things and more, to avoid paying the tax increase, AND THEY DO every time, without fail !! There has not been a rich person or corporation in history, who has ever just sucked it up and paid for a tax increase, without passing it on. They ALWAYS pass it down to you and me, every single time !! 100% record !! So, the next time a politician says "Tax the rich", what they are really saying is; "Government needs more money, and YOU are paying for it". Be smart; vote out the "big government" politicians and vote in some common sense.
