Castanea Township Recreation Committee announces Community Day, Saturday, July 24th, all day at the Castanea Train Station Complex, Logan Avenue in Castanea, Harvey's Run Park on Nittany Road, Bald Eagle Valley Trail, and the Castanea Fire Company Station #3. Planned events include a 5K Run/Walk with the Friends of the Bald Eagle Valley Trail, craft/artist/vendor fair at the train station, children's entertainment at Harvey's Run Park, fire engine and games at fire hall, local history talk with the Clinton County Historical Society in the kiosk, Clinton Central Model Railroad Club Open House and live music (location TBD). Further details will be announced.
