Guitarist/songwriter looking to form a new band to play blues on the jazzier side. Looking to do original material and a very few covers that haven't been driven into the ground and back a hundred million times. Looking for bass (upright/electric), keyboards (piano/organ), drums. Vocals a must---other than lame guide vocals on demos, I can't sing and I know it. Prefer those whose major influences are blues, jazz, classic soul, and who aren't afraid to jam the old-fashioned way---freewheeling improvisation without forgetting the groove or the swing. Live music is beginning to return. Let's become part of it when we have it together!
