(CMT)/Engineered Syntactic Systems (ESS) is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant, primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of office functions, in addition to providing support to customer service, sales, purchasing, accounting, human resources and general business administration. Job Responsibilities Serve as the principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies Monitor, develop and maintain transactional financial workflow in Sage 100 ERP Answer phones and direct calls Primary A/P and A/R administrative duties: Send customer invoices daily Post incoming checks and accounts payable into computer system Contact customer for payment status Generate weekly A/P file Print and reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements Contact delinquent accounts to determine payment status Make bank deposits, including travel to BCSB Attleboro when required Process credit applications for customers applying for terms Support sales organization relating to non-technical issues; enter sales orders and credit card transactions Office and employee supplies purchasing (Amazon, Staples and Peapod) Adhere to Business Management System requirements Files CMT and ESS records in accordance with established guidelines Qualifications of Position High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Minimum 2 years of related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills Introductory knowledge of accounting, purchasing, and sales methods and principles Experienced in accounting transactional use within Sage 100 Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision Ability to maintain a high level of discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information Demonstrate aptitude for problem solving, collaboration with others, and ability to determine solutions for customers and prospects Results oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment Ability to multi-task and be flexible/adaptable to meet changing or multiple deadlines Must be dependable, possess ability to follow instructions, take direction from management, be accountable, and committed Ability to apply and interpret federal and/or state regulations, policies, and procedures Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds About CMT Materials, Inc./Engineered Syntactic Systems CMT Materials, Inc.
