Wayne Poore is a scammer!!! Home improvements/Drywall needed

Hello, I made a post about wanting to help my Father get his home together in April. I received many responses. A man name "Wayne Poore" replied to my post and came to see the improvements I asked for with is brother. We agreed on a price for labor and materials. I paid him $300 days later for materials. He promised he and his brother would come the next day to do work which was a Friday. He didn't come. Saturday morning he texted me that he was at Home Depot. He then called me saying that he was short of money for the last bit of material and that I needed to come meet him at home depot so he could buy it and then head over to get to work. I went to meet him and gave him $200 more. So $500 I gave him and didn't get a return on it. He said he and his brother would be over to the house in 1-2 hours tops. Of course he didn't come and made up excuses. I attached his picture and some of our texts showing his number. He starts to say his brother is missing. He also tried to blame Covid at some point after ignoring me until i got my brother to call. I kept trying to be nice because I wanted him to come and do the work. He kept saying he was waiting on his brother. Everyday it was another excuse after excuse. Fast forward after over a week of trying to get him to come, I had to get my older brother who is a Police officer in Houston, TX to call him in attempt to threaten him to come. He still kept stalling and finally came one day with his Girlfriend. No materials were brought over. His girlfriend and him told me that the $300 I originally gave him for the materials, the brother had taken it and was now MIA. He brought his girlfriend with him just so she could keep the peace because he knew he was wrong to begin with. So now I realized that no materials were ever brought. They promised that they would pay for everything out of pocket and come back the next day. Of course they never came and he sent a picture of a car in an accident to try to make up another excuse. I really just wanted to get the improvements done for my Father because he deserves it. He is retired after working close to 40 years at Ford and he is a cancer survivor. He's a widow and an all around good guy. Wayne Poore told me all the materials were brought but nothing was. He never ever showed me a picture or receipt of any material. Watch out for this guy because is a scammer and probably uses the money to get high. I was able to find someone to help me with roofing work because when it was raining, the holes in the ceiling would be leaking in several rooms so that had to get fixed. That costed me a lot and I am now pretty tapped out for the most part. I wanted to help my dad get his home together. Drywall was some of the main material that was suppose to be brought for the kitchen. If anyone can help donate or buy some I'll greatly appreciate it. I tried to do a great deed for my Father and I was taken advantage by a low life who promised to have my back. My dad needs new cabinets holes in ceiling fix, better blinds and carpet.
