We are looking for like-minded people to join us on our mission to becoming the best pavement maintenance company in Colorado Asphalt Job Description: Assist with the sub-grade preparation and compaction. Laying, rolling and placement of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. The main role of the Asphalt pavement worker is to look after the mat. This includes raking, sweeping, and detailed work that works alongside the paver. Concrete Job Description: Assist in the pouring and finishing of concrete for sidewalks, curb and gutter, stairs, porches, driveways, flatwork, drive lanes, and parking spaces. Performs concrete maintenance jobs, to include concrete grinding, caulking, sealing, and other concrete services. Essential Duties: • Maintain accurate time sheets and clock into the correct job number. Verify and sign-off total weekly hours. • Maximize job proficiencies by working as a team with proper sequencing • Ensure job quality and safety • Attend all required meetings, including toolbox talks • Perform Vehicle Inspections (Drivers) • Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) • Follow all OSHA, DOT, and DACS safety regulations • Load and unload heavy equipment in a safe fashion • Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment • Cone and tape off work areas • Cutting and removal of asphalt • Sub-grade preparation and compaction • Application of tack • Placement of asphalt • Compaction of asphalt- detail work • Maintain, clean, and take care of all tools, equipment, and trucks • Tape and cone-off work areas • Ensure site is clean. Preferred skills: • Cutting with Demo-saw/walk-behind saw experience • Raking experience • Use of compaction equipment • Roller experience • Skidsteer experience • Paver operator experience • Infrared machine experience
