$40 an hour? How many nursing home gigs are longer than an hour? Not many. So, you want musicians to pack up, maybe bring a PA, and do a gig for 40 - 80 bucks, and maybe "some extras for travel".. At least spring for a guaranteed $100 per man and maybe an extra $50 if they bring the PA. Stop exploiting our musicians. We know you can pay more fairly so do the right thing. We book solo performers, singers, duos, trios, drum circle leaders, choir directors, and more... Songlists ought to include a mix of jazz, blues, and country music. Nursery rhymes and songs from 1930s are huge in the retirement community, and they really open up your opportunity for performances. We have several shows available nearly every week. Reach out and send me some recordings or video so that I can see if you're a good fit. Gigs pay $40 per an hour played, with some extras for travel that are determined case by case. Most shows require a small PA system. Must have bio and video, or audio.
