F&P America Manufacturing is hiring Forklift Operators 2nd or 3rd Shifts Starting base hourly rate $15.55 per hour +.50 cent shift premium The Forklift Operator performs duties required to efficiently load/unload and deliver material to/from production lines/areas. Responsibilities: Unloads material from trucks using motorized forklift Delivers material to production lines/areas Inspects material for quality Scans labels to ensure proper storage and inventory control Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor Conducts forklift and crane safety checks on prescribed intervals Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency) Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Must have previous forklift experience in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment Follows all safety requirements of the company – PPE, (hat, glasses, steel-toed boots, uniform, hearing protection, gloves, etc.) safe job behaviors, etc. Must be able to work well with team members in all departments. Able to handle multiple tasks and meet production quotas Able to safely and efficiently operate a forklift by passing forklift training class and obtaining license Able to read and understand operation standards, job instructions and product labels Benefits: F&P America Manufacturing offers competitive wages with pay increases every 6 months.
