We are a Ventura based Underground Utility contractor with 30+ Years of Experience. We are Currently looking for Qualified, Hardworking and Responsible Individuals to Help our Company Grow and Continue to Provide Top Quality Work. We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 2-5 years related work experience as an Equipment Operator for Sewer, Storm Drain, Water, Reclaimed Water and Dry Utilities. Preferred Applicants Should be Team Players, be Highly Motivated, can Follow Direction, can be on the job On-Time, be Willing to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Can adhere to our Safety Protocols and Guidelines. We are Looking to Fill this Position Within 1-3 Weeks. Work Includes: -Safe Trench Excavation. -Digging Near and Around Existing Utilities. -Backfill and Compaction. -Carrying Large Loads. -Lifting Various Pipes and Materials w/ Appropriate Lifting Hardware. -Breaking Rock and Concrete. -Asphalt Paving. -Other Daily Tasks to Assist with Pipelayers. -Daily Maintenance Checks on Company Equipment. -Ability to Perform All Daily Tasks Safely. Preferred Work Experience Includes: -Experience Operating CAT or JOHN DEERE Back Hoe. (Digging, Backfilling, Transporting Materials, Using Accessory Attachments). -Experience Digging with CAT Excavators. We Use Anything from a CAT 304 to a CAT 335, or a Bigger Excavator if Needed. -Experience with Front End Loader. (Pushing Dirt/Backfill, Sand Shading and Transporting Other Needed Materials for the Pipelayers). -Experience Operating a Skid Steer NOT REQUIRED BUT PREFERED. (Grinding Asphalt, Street Sweeping, Operating in Tight Spaces). -Asphalt Roller. (PLUS) -Asphalt Zipper. (PLUS) Requirements and Qualifications: -Must Pass a Pre-employment Drug Test. -Must Pass a Background Check. -Must Possess Documentation for the Legal Right to Work in the U.S. -Have a Valid CA drivers License with a Clean Record (Preferred). - Lift a Minimum of 50 LBS. - Stand for Long Periods of Time. -Willing to Work in All Types of Weather Conditions and Outdoor Environments. -Must be On-Time. -Must Have a Reliable Means of Transportation. -Must be a Team Player and get Along with Others. -Must be Willing to work Overtime When Required. Candidate needs to be Available for Night and Weekend Work if Required and also be Available for any On-Call Emergency Work, Including Nights, Holidays and Weekends. -Spanish Speaking is a Plus but not Required. -Must be Willing to Work in Different Locations. (We Work in Ventura County and some Portions of Los Angeles County) -Must be Willing to Receive Training for Confined Space, OSHA, CPR, First Aid and Veriforce for work Around SoCal Gas Utilities. -Must be a Safety Conscious Individual. (Mandatory) Schedule: -Monday Through Friday. -Some Weekends. -Nights. -On Call Emergency Work. Wages and Benefits: -Starting Wage will Vary Depending on Qualifications and Experience.
