Alter Trading Company is looking to add to its team. Alter Trading Corporation, a 120+ year old, privately held company with 70+ scrap metal processing facilities is seeking a qualified Alter operates scrap metal processing facilities in 9 states and trades recycled materials nationally and internationally. We are looking for full time general laborers for our Davenport Facility. This person must be willing to work outside subject to the environment. The General Laborer is responsible for performing various duties including sorting and packaging material, assisting customers and loading outbound material. The position must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs, while climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Must be able to follow all company safety standards and wear necessary PPE including hard hat and steel toe safety boots.
